Challenge

Our client needed to find a reliable web development partner to professionally maintain and improve their web-based food delivery service solution. In particular, they needed help to improve their SEO as well as enhanced support for tasks such as bug fixing and mobile optimisation. Before bringing us on-board, they faced a range of problems, including:
- 27% of users encountered problems when ordering a meal
- Content accessed by mobile and tablet devices was displayed incorrectly
- Generally slow service performance
- Poor SEO optimisation
- A distinct lack of features in comparison to their main competitors
Solution
We took on this challenging e-commerce project and agreed with the client to implement improvements that included:
- Fixing the mobile version display problems
- Implementation of new features such as phone number verification and catering options
- Development of a delivery charge calculation service based on the destination
- Configuration and improvement of internal SEO
- Addition of multi-language support and a promo code discount feature

Result

During the period of our collaboration with g2go / g2fly, we significantly improved the website usability and obtained positive feedback from users. Website metrics demonstrated that our improvements:
- Reduced the number of users encountering meal ordering problems down to 0.5%
- Increased the orders conversion rate by 7%
- Attracted new clients to the service due to the multi-language support
